Hello my name is Michelle Andre.
I would like to start off by saying thank you for sharing your child with us. I am delighted for the chance to get to know your families and be a part of them through this learning adventure. Noah’s Ark students learn, grow and thrive in our classrooms. Our whole staff is committed to providing a safe, fun, and educational world for your child. We will learn, play, do art/crafts, and all while encouraging your child to become a little more independent and confident to take on Kindergarten. A little about myself: I have been married for 21 years and have 2 boys, ages 20 and 17, and both are graduates of Noah’s Ark. I am an Air Force brat and traveled extensively around our great country and Europe. But our “Home” has always been here in the Northwest. In our family’s spare time we enjoy hiking at all the NW waterfalls, baking together, crafting, watching movies, and being with our extended family. I have been working at Noah’s Ark for 8 years now in the Dandy Dolphin class. I love my job here at Noah’s Ark; working with these amazing children brings me great joy. Watching their eyes light up when they finally understand something they have been learning is always a wonderful moment to experience, and being part of that learning is a blessing. I am excited to meet you and to have the chance to be part of your child’s learning adventure. Children want the same things we want. To laugh, to be challenged, to be entertained, and delighted. ~ Dr. Suess |

My name is Katie Wright. I have been married for 7 years to my husband Tim, and we have two boys, Elliot (age 5) and Augie (age 2). My son Elliot attended Noah's Ark Preschool as a Busy Bee, and now I am an assistant teacher there for the Dandy Dolphins! Augie loves to hang out at the Play Park downstairs while I work sometimes, and can't wait to attend preschool himself.
We have lived in Vancouver for 3.5 years, and previously lived in Orange County, California. I attended college at CSU San Bernardino and graduated with a B.A. in Art Education. I ended up spending most of my career working as a graphic designer at various jobs before becoming a stay at home mom, and now a preschool assistant teacher. As my own children get older, I have realized how much I love working with kids and helping them learn. I especially love arts and crafts, and do them with my kids at home frequently. I am excited to be on the Noah's Ark team! |

I moved to Vancouver about 20 years ago from Long Beach, WA. I came here to give my niece and nephew, whom I was raising, a better chance at a good education, and for the many opportunities and services that Vancouver offers.
We found First Presbyterian Church and my niece and nephew joined the youth group. After my husband and I had our own children, we joined Play Park and I eventually was hired as the Play Park coordinator. Both my children attended several years of preschool at Noah's Ark. After being retired for a couple years I returned this year to assist Ms. Michelle in the Dandy Dolphins class. When I am not at the Ark, my family enjoy our little homestead with our gardens, goats, chickens, cats and dog. I also enjoy camping hiking and traveling with my family. |
